NEW PARTNER ALERT: Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust launches with Skin Analytics to deliver a post referral service for skin cancer

Proud to partner with Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust to deliver AI teledermatology

By leveraging our sustainably-built AI medical device, DERM, LUHFT will address their ever-increasing urgent suspected cancer referrals without the need for additional face-to-face clinics.

Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust are one of the additional nine NHS trusts awarded funding to pilot DERM, and their patients in the Sefton area will be first out of approximately 45,000 patients to benefit from our technology by the summer – when skin cancer referrals are at their highest.

Consultant Dermatologist, Richard Azurdia commented on the partnership, “Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust as a Trust continues to get year on year increases in suspected skin cancer referrals putting pressure on dermatology services to meet targets. This is not dissimilar from many dermatology units in the UK. We are excited to partner with Skin Analytics in a 12 month pilot which presents a real opportunity to innovate and use AI to help us assess and triage patients with suspected skin cancer. We hope that the AI medical device, DERM, will help us streamline patient pathways and maximise our dermatology capacity so that we see the patients we really need to face to face in a more timely manner.”

Special mention to Richard Azurdia, Andrew Cleary, Jodi Williams and Paul McGovern for making this partnership happen and never wavering on the pursuit for better skin cancer care. ❤️
