About the role

Skin Analytics is recruiting a Marketing Manager to join our company during an exciting time of growth. As the first marketing professional to join our team, this role would suit someone with an entrepreneurial streak and an all round doer to drive our brand and marketing strategy.

A lot of what we do, we are doing for the first time so to be successful in this role, we need someone who is a self starter, exceptionally agile and comfortable working with ambiguity. 

This role is pivotal within the team and will be accountable and responsible for the development, planning and implementation of the marketing strategy end to end, across all channels and touchpoints. You’ll own the Marketing Strategy and drive all activities to help the business drive sales and profitability for our key categories.

The role presents a significant opportunity for rapid advancement for the right candidate as we grow. The position reports to the Director of Business Development and Sales. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Be the brand guardian for Skin Analytics: establish our brand positioning and ensure all channels reflect the mission, vision and brand identity; ensure all internal and external communications adhere to brand guidelines
  • Define and help refine the marketing strategy in the UK, US and other markets 
  • Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive communications strategy that will position Skin Analytics as thought leaders in the AI healthcare field
  • Develop and maintain brand asset collateral for services in conjunction with product, clinical and sales experts including owning the Skin Analytics website
  • Develop and execute a customer acquisition strategy in a manner that supports business growth, enhances brand equity, drives awareness, and builds a loyal customer base
  • Create, maintain and deliver, in coordination with product marketing and product teams, external communications including blog posts and community articles
  • Own campaigns from end-to-end: managing creative processes, targeting and segmentation, planning, execution, reporting, and optimisation
  • Work closely with external PR partners to secure brand-enhancing coverage, events, and product seeding – with the goal of increasing brand awareness and PR value
  • Interact with the sales teams on adoption and execution of marketing campaigns, including tracking inquiries and sales opportunities
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, create, and share responses to market developments, customer behavior and competitor activities
  • Management of key stakeholders ensuring we are all working towards aligned vision and goals
  • Deliver a marketing plan for each of our products as they enter the market
  • Coordinating our social media and influencer strategy
  • Responsible for the brand and marketing budget, ensuring we are hitting KPI’s at all times

Applicant Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive responsibility in brand marketing & activation is required
  • Medical device or pharma industry experience is preferred and healthcare experience a must
  • Strong marketing background – you understand how customers engage and interact with each channel and you can refine messages accordingly – with a focus on digital marketing
  • Strong sense in business development – business acumen and out of the box thinking
  • Hands-on experience with on-line and off-line brand management
  • Strong knowledge of online marketing, digital media, social media and operational marketing
  • Excellent writing and communication skills to articulate value of technology solutions for industry challenges
  • Comfort with technology/software with an interest in cutting edge technology
  • Personality to thrive in a fast moving startup environment without the structure of a large corporate
  • Team player, ability to collaborate and work alongside peer group
  • Agility, flexibility and work with pace
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
