We are delighted to announce that the Skin Analytics have been recognised for their innovative work in AI, by CogX, the world’s leading festival of all things AI and emerging technology.
The team were awarded Best Innovation in Computer Vision at the 2019 CogX Awards, in London, on 10th June. Jack Greenhalgh, Head of AI and Tim Daly, Head of Business Development were at the festival to collect the award, which recognises the development of our DERM AI (Deep Ensemble for the Recognition of Malignancy) a custom developed deep learning model which, as demonstrated in an observational paper, is as accurate as dermatologists at identifying melanoma.
“Receiving this award is hugely exciting and rewarding for us” said Tim, “previous CogX winners include Google Deep Mind and Babylon Health so it is an exciting recognition of the importance that we place on designing our technology to have real world clinical utility.”
