Winners! The British Data Awards – AI Company of the Year

Last night, Skin Analytics took home the award for AI Company of the Year at the British Data Awards 2025, with headline partner, Data Literacy Academy.

The British Data Awards is an annual quest that sets-out to discover and celebrate the UK’s data success stories. The awards also help to showcase the organisations and people that are truly passionate about data. A record 448 entries were submitted for the fifth edition of the British Data Awards, so competition to be named a Finalist, let alone a Winner was particularly tough. Organisations taking part include FTSE 100 heavyweights, technology unicorns, innovative start-ups, government departments, essential not-for-profits, and everything in between.

Jason Johnson, Co-Founder of Predatech and British Data Awards 2025 judge said: “I’d like to extend my congratulations to all our 2025 Winners. With 40% more entries received this year compared to 2024, being named a Winner really is a major achievement. All our Winners should feel incredibly proud because they embody the vibrancy, diversity and sheer strength of the UK’s data ecosystem.”

Categories ranged from sector specific awards such as ‘Technology Company of the Year’ and ‘AI Company of the Year’ to several overall awards including ‘Data for Good Initiative of the Year’ and ‘Data Transformation of the Year’ which received the most entries.

The British Data Awards 2025 ceremony took place at The Brewery in London and was hosted by the comedian Jo Caulfield.
