Skin Analytics takes the The Digital Healthcare Show 2024

The Skin Analytics team spent two incredible days at The Digital Healthcare Show, hosting talks and meeting like-minded people driving change through innovation

Across Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th April, the Skin Analytics team attended The Digital Healthcare Show which delivered a captivating and thought-provoking agenda exploring the challenges of achieving digital maturity through holistic transformation.

Providers, innovators and everyone in between discussed and interrogated practical steps for success, current tech applications, and tangible transformation methodologies, drawing on topical themes such as workforce transformation, virtual care, data and analytics, and digital inclusion.

We were proud to have been one of the leaders at the frontline of digital healthcare transformation sharing our insight and real-world impact of AI in NHS skin cancer pathways.

We started the first morning hosting a ‘warts and all’ talk with Michael Wright on the journey Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust took to deploying AI, from pilot to a sustainable solution.

Michael shared some reasons to be proud following the implementation of our Skin Analytics pathway, including:

✅94% avoidance of face-to-face clinics
✅10% reduction in biopsies

In the afternoon, our Commercial Director, Rachael Dovey took centre stage in the Keynote Theatre with Shanker Vijayadeva from NHS England and Santosh Kumar from The Health Economics Unit to answer the question, ‘Where do we see tangible applications of Al and advanced analytics today?’.

In addition to our talks, the team were in non-stop conversations on our stand. It’s was really motivating to meet like-minded individuals and see real curiosity and understanding for the need of AI in healthcare.

Thanks to the team at The Digital Healthcare Show for having us!
